We propose dedicated training and course material on PLM concepts to prepare our customers for virtual product development. This course material covers 3D CAD, CAM, Simulation and virtual production processes in a collaborative way. All industrial areas are covered, including aeronautics, automotive, consumer goods and manufacturing.

Objectives: This course aims to provide the basic knowledge and understanding of the composite design utilized in the engineering material and aerospace structures. Use Abaqus/CAE to create complete finite element models. Solve structural analysis problems including the effects of material nonlinearity.

Module 1: Composite design 6h

	About composites: definition, design concept…
	Composite design using manual approach: parameters, manual ply creation, 	creating ply, analyzing, managing the plies…
	Composite design using grid approach: Creating the plies, Virtual stacking, 
	Project: Satellite design (2h): composite design part. 		

Module 2: Finite Element Method by Abaqus software 9h

	Static Analysis
	Frequency Analysis 
	Subroutine in Abaqus: Python language
	Project: Satellite structure (2h): vibrations problems, thermal problems. 

Module 3: Catia Systems & RFLP 15h

	With Catia Systems, any kind of behavior can be simulate: Mechanical, 	Logical, Mechatronics, Hydraulics, Electronics. The software  use the 	Modelica language with an  integrated complete library ..
	Project: Satellite satellite control system (2h): Catia system.
