  • Description: Principles of remote sensing and its applications in oceanography (elevation, temperature, ocean color, surface wind, salinity…), atmospheric sciences (water vapor and temperature profiling, cloud and rain characterization, chemical constituants, ozone layer…), land surface (elevation, natural vegetation, soil moisture, agriculture, anthropised vegetation, urban development, disaster monitoring…). It will cover both passive and active remote sensing, over a large range of frequency domains (from the microwave to the UV).
